Default ReaSamplomatic5000 Xfade question

The xfade seems to be creating a window _inside_ the loop area. as i see it, it's basically fading in at the beginning and fading out at the end, creating a dip in the volume. this isn't really a cross-fade, but more like a tremelo effect.

I think to get a proper cross-fade without hurting the timing of the loop, the area outside the loop area would need to be in the taper, depending of course on the availability of data.

if the loop section is the entire sample, then i guess true crossfading would by necessity shorten the length of the loop in order to begin fading in the sample before the sample is finished, but it should sound good.
