Default Linux, Reaper, wine, kernel etc: my journey and looking for some advice

Well I first wrote it in reddit, but I'll repost it here

https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxaudio/...y_journey_and/

Takeaway: I found a great performance boost with using the liquorix kernel. Now can do 64 buffer, 2 periods (monitoring 2 inputs at once in reaper).

Questions: Is wine-staging needed nowadays? And what about the wine realtime patches I've read in some places? There's the `wine start /realtime ..` command now. So has this patch made it to wine stable?

Also, anyone has any experience concerning performance in wine/reaper 32bit vs 64bit (and 32 vs 64bit plugins etc)
