Default If I just want to save prefs/actions in a config file...

...which item(s) in the config list should I check?

So yeah, if I'm doing an Export Configuration and the only things I'm wanting to export are my Preferences settings and Action List settings/items, which boxes should I check to include those? I see several that seem like they might apply, but I'm not certain. Thanks in advance!

Hi!

For actions you'll need:

-Actions and key bindings
-ReaScripts (if using custom scripts)
-Cursors and key maps

For preferences you'll need:
-Configurations

Note that this will exclude themes, menus and toolbars, track templates and fx chains.

I would definitely recommend you at least include misc data, menus and toolbars and menu sets in there as well, unless you explicitly want to lose those and get a fresh start.

Also note that you can always export by selecting everything, and then pick and choose what you want to import later, so there's a bit of an upside to doing that just so you have a reliable back-up!
