I dl's Nova-67P, and I was wondering what makes it worth stepping up to a paid option?
For one, I don't see an option in Nova for oversampling (ReaXComp doesn't have an oversampling/AA option either). But, the prices range a lot.
TB FlX: $20
GlissEQ: $90
MDynamicEqualizer: $80
MAutoDynamicEQ: $112

And, a lot of other options seemingly costing exponentially more depending on the name-brand on the box.

Just curios what you all like of other options vs Nova.
Melda runs a weekly 50% off sale for five of their plugs at a time. If you sign up for their newsletter you can wait for one of the dynamic EQs to come around and snatch it, that's what I did. Nothing will come close to the feature set of MDynamicEQ at half price.

But to start out I'd mess around with Nova67p and that handy dandy anti aliasing VST and see what comes out.

What's the update about?

Nothing official yet except these two images for teasers (KVR Topic). Apparently it'll have per-band dynamics settings, which is one thing the original Nova is dearly missing.

It looks fantastic. The GE editions are paid versions, right? What do they go for?

Tokyo Dawn does top notch stuff, free and paid.

http://www.tokyodawn.net/tokyo-dawn-labs/

Kotelnikov GE is €40
Slick EQ GE is €30

So, I'd expect Nova GE to be somewhere near that price range (maybe €50?). We'll see.

Hi, just want to add another free dynamic EQ released not so long time ago, DQ65 by J1000. And perhaps a quick review from BPB.
