Default effects...knobs

I want to break down these complicated plugins into 3 knobs that control the main things. Like what you have on a guitar pedal...just 3 knobs.

is there a way to do this easily...have 3 knobs on my front of my screen of reaper which basically controls the main thing of that vst effect

you only have to reprogram the VST. but make sure that the license allows you to do that.

if you have tghen accomplished a really good working 3 knob synth let me know ... I am interested.

You can add plugin parameters to the Track Control Panels and the Mixer Control Panels. If you want the parameters somewhere else, you will need to look into programming it yourself...

The TCP/MCP knobs are a great feature, though I've never really found an instance where I've needed or even really wanted them. It might be the quickest, easiest way to accomplish the OP, except of you've got more than one plugin on the track, you might end up looking at more than three knobs at a time.

You could very easily create a JS plugin that does nothing. Give it three sliders and name them however you like. Then, use Parameter Modulation to link them to the parameters on the plug you want to twiddle. You won't get any visual feedback that the original plug might give, but it'll work.

Yeah, I know... But since people do it anyway, I thought it's just the same to do it myself in turn.

Only thing I dont like about the knobs in the mixer pane is they are too damn small.
Otherwise very useful.
Wonder if it is possible to substitute sliders (vertical) instead?
Plenty of spare space in there....

Yes it would be great to have resizable controls of various types similar to Logic's new "Smart Controls".
