Amazing theme indeed!
I'm facing a small problem that happens only with the _dark variety of the theme. Maybe a bug?
I have my TCP tracks set to layout B_alt (but the behavior is the same for A_alt as well), and they show up like this:
Notice there's no color triangle thingy on the right side.
Here they are with the regular (not dark) theme
The triangle is there!
When I increase the height of the track with the _dark variety the triangle comes back, as soon as the mute and solo buttons become stacked:
I tried every setting on the theme adjuster, but couldn't get anything to work (meter size had no influence there, and neither hiding meter labels etc.)

The color thingy disappears because the width gets decreased when the solo and mute buttons folds ..if you increase the width it should appear...

Doesn't matter how much I increase the width - they remain hidden.
Again - it's only in the dark variety. Regular variety - same exact theme - no problem.
It looks like the width is different, when in reality what is different is the width of the meters. However, the theme adjuster's meter width setting has no bearing on their size.
UPDATE:
After a lot of fiddling around, I found that commenting out this (the 4th) line in rtconfig.txt did the trick (and now the theme adjuster's meter width setting works).
Code:
Layout "150%_B Alt TCP" "200/alt"
set scale 1.5
calcTcpSecs scale
; paramPair tcp_MeterSize 4 4 10 24 40 100 180 320 ; b0se
I'm not sure why this modification was there in the first place - judging by the comment it seems it was made by b0se, and I'm pretty sure the answer is somewhere in these 56 pages

Oh damn, youre right, my memory is all wrong, I use a heavy modified version and made edits to alot and the color thingy is one of the first things I changed....Sorry about that mate, my bad. Does the meter size be comment out like that in order to make it work with Reapers Theme Adjuster? If so, that could be the reason perhaps...

Not sure where the problem is. It's the first time I'm trying to use 6.0 theme and its theme adjuster.
But I can confirm the default 6.0 adjuster works properly. So I assume there is something wrong with the adjuster delivered with this theme.
So, being on Windows, I installed fonts (checked it in the system and restarted the comp). Selected windows version of the theme. Of course installed the theme adjuster.
Now, first inconsistency I can see is naming of tabs in the adjuster.
Scaling from Custom Colors tab affects Automation lines. Scaling available on TCP track affects MCP. Scaling available in Global Settings affects TCP.
When selecting 50 or 100% scaling, MCP seems to be OK. But when selecting 75% it's all over the place.

Is v6.2.1 the most current version out there? I have had it for ages, but would like to see if I have missed any improvements over the last year or two?

I have the same problem with this theme
Bose has defected to Logic so I doubt there'll be any more work from him on this theme.

Hello, b0se! Hoping you will read this, not sure how to contact you directly.
I modded your theme and would love to share it. Would you consider updating the licensing?
I will of course credit you all the way and hugely emphasize to send donations to you. You deserve every bit!

Yep!! thank youuu 💙 It's honestly just very small details that I think glues and "completes" this theme for me.
👇 Here's the full changelog:
• Toolbars & Icons: All the toolbar icons are replaced with a brighter version of them and colors follow a blue/softred scheme. I also added frames to all of them. This also applies to every accent color around the interface (buttons, knobs, meters...)
• Dark mode: There were some parts and images that were still light mode in the original theme, I ensured every color follows dark mode colors.
• Supercollapse: When supercollapsing folders, all the children will hide. This is just how I like it but it's easy to revert back if you liked the original way!
• MIDI Colormap: Added a nice premium looking colormap for MIDI. I think I found this on the stash a while ago and I tweaked it a bit~
• Extend name function: Every button in the TCP will align vertically and only the name field will extend when creating children track. This is using these lines of code NVK made a while ago
– As bonus I also created a color palette that fits pretty well via Color Palette script by Rodilab

Installed it following instructions: It's ok although I noticed on TCP:
the column with the list of the plugins is not separated from the column with the list of sends/returns

I helped with others to port the images (by hand not just batch resizing) for the theme from 4K to the 1080p res; I support people releasing their own mods of this now, since there is no longer any development or updates from B0se. He did say after some time he was ok with this happening.
I think as long as the title of the modded theme still has "Smooth 6 INSERTNAME mod" then seems fair and is still obvious it is a mod of his original work.

Looks great. Is there anyway to have the FX inserts a matching Blue rather than the gray? also the sends?

How to change fonts color in this theme?
I want to make track name and time ruler fonts more white (they are slightly gray now).
Messing with walter fonts parameters in theme tweaker has no result - I can change size but I can't change font color.

Ok if it means that we can give up about any update that will support more and more Reaper Features, then I uninstall it.
If I understood wrong: my apologize.

I don't think B0se has the time to update it himself so this is more reason to let the community create mods on his original work, in the hope that any issues can be resolved by other people who love the theme and want to maintain it; or mod it to offer different versions.

The theme is nice: sober, clear etc. To me the only one thing missing, is the separation of the columns related the FX and the SENDS in the TCP panel.
i have not familiarity with WALTER (it's really nasty stuff) and I can't contribute to implement this feature. Otherwise i was doing it with pleasure.

I would be happy to offer help into further modding this thing if the license ever changes. I am very limited to only tweaking the images as I am not so great at walter stuff. Would love to implement more TCP/MCP layouts and such.

I don't think B0se has officially said he is ready for people to mod his theme but he did say that was coming after a while. It has been quite some time now since it came out. If people try to get in touch and ask for his blessing, hopefully, we get a response.

I emailed B0se on 22nd Dec 2020 to see if he'd be up for theming the (then) new media explorer buttons, no response. Emailed 16th Aug 2022 about seeing if he was ok with mods now being released, still no reply. (I doubt it is a junk/spam email issue as we have exchanged emails before).
People could try and release their mods and then if we hear anything to oppose this then that would be fair enough and action could be taken. Otherwise could be waiting a long time?
I also feel like mods on this theme aren't going to be wildly different to the original design, just small tweaks where new features appeared and needed attention, bug fixes (like the midi window scroll bars weren't dark in dark mode) or general tweaks (my mod reduces some of the 3D bevel effects on the tracks as I felt on big busy projects this was easier on the eyes when they looked flatter.

it sounds like he has abandonded it and moved on to a new daw full time. i vote for releasing the modded version and if he then decides to pop up and oppose it then pull it and apologize. its not like there hasnt been attempts to reach out to him. he should be proud of his work on this. its a top tier theme. it'd be a shame to not let the community continue with it now that he has left. 2yrs is plenty of time to respond. seems safe to assume he's over it. wouldnt be too hard to just chime in or answer an email and say "no i dont want alternative versions released". no disrespect intended by any of this. its my favorite theme.
c'mon Alez156 upload... upload...😎

I agree with this. I'm 99.9% sure he's all good with it as its somewhat standard procedure to release mods. And its been due process with this thread. Looking forward to try it out!
