Default Drag & drop issue in plugin windows (e.g. EZDrummer)

Hi all,

I've been using Linux Reaper very stable and successfully for a while now - thanks to all contributors, I can't put into words how happy I am to see it on the download page now.

Unfortunately, I've run into an issue with my EZDrummer VSTi-plugin. The developer includes midi-samples in the software that can be accessed via the plugin UI and then dragged and dropped onto the plugin's track in Reaper. That way, you are able to "build" e.g. a drum-line in this case just by moving MIDI samples.

However, in the Linux version, I am unable to drop the MIDI samples from the UI unto the track, they just won't appear. This functionality does work out of the box when everything runs "natively" in Wine. I am using LinVST to load EZDrummer from Wine.

Is there any workaround for this? Please let me know if I can do anything to help.

Have a look at this thread and the gadget that Lokasenna created. I have both EZD and Superior, but haven't tried it because I play them from a pad kit when I'm not using real drums.
