That was my final choice too for the same reason - it wasn't another compressor or eq but something really fun that's just different.

It also sounds great on full dry as the tape pre-amp really saturates the sound very nicely indeed.

Alright! I swapped the EQ-PA for the Precision Comp. Glad that I did. Very nice little comp!

I will say this was all worth it for that Master EQ 432 alone. That sucker is legend. I had two good mixes already done, threw them through this and everything cleared up. Let me hear frequencies being pulled out that I hadn't heard before.

Didn't need to spend the cash, but I will say it was a mighty fine weekend. I only have maybe 7-8 more plugs to get to complete the T-Racks collection.

I heard many good things about the 432 and when the group buy started, I really didn't want to like it in case I felt compelled to buy it. Suffice to say, I really liked and and felt compelled to buy it (getting the freebies was also a factor). I'm glad I did because, like you say, popping it on a finished mix really does something very special indeed.

I certainly didn't need to spend the cash, especially as I'm just a hobbyist who makes music for shits and giggles, but I went back to some previously finished songs, replacing the plugins using my new IK arsenal and wow, they sound a whole bunch better.

I'm really digging the 432. I know it's a master EQ, but I have thrown it on a couple tracks to clean up some mud that I was having a hard time getting rid of otherwise.

And BTW, this sale has been extended to the end of the year.

Did they add more free stuff?

It is a killer deal, regardless of whether or not they added another free plugin.

Enjoy.

I MUST resist.

I hear you Ivan. I have everything except the EQs PA, PB, 73, 81 & Graphic, and was congratulating myself on resisting. I don't need any more EQ plugins, right? But yet another trial of will has been sent... urrgghhh.

I'll say one thing about IKM's marketing team; they really know how to entice people to buy their plugins, even when we REALLY don't need them. I bet the vast majority of people who participated in this last group buy already had all the EQ plugins they'll ever need, but I'll admit that the way they market these "group buy", they really make you feel like you're missing on something if you don't buy anything:

...Hmm if I buy this plugin, I'll get 4 freebies... but...but... I don't need ANY of these ...but...but...4...four.. FOUR freebies Is there ANYTHING I could buy?...must find something...ahh shit, I'll get in before it's too late...Oh what have I done!

Fortunately for me this time, I'm resisting ...for now. Nah, pretty sure I won't give in

Disclaimer: I guess it's easier for me to resist since I already have lots of plugins from IKM (and yes, some EQ too)

Easier for me because of my previous experience with them and especially their so-called tech support.

I just checked and realised I haven't even installed Sampletank on the new machine.

And so far I have only used The Custard Shop stuff for working on old tracks.

Looks like by the time I get to win10 I will pretty much be non-IKMM.

Certainly having better luck getting decent guitar sounds from my other plugs.
Same with EQ/Comp/Limit/Reverbs.

I have never had a single issue with them, other than the authorization manager demanding updates when the version is current. No biggie. I just did the group buy and now have trn of their plugs. The 33609 emulation is really solid. Thanks for the heads up on this thread!
