Default Move edit cursor to possible bad or missing items crossfade on selected tracks

Today I needed these actions when editing, so I made them. They are useful if you want to make sure than your crossfades are ok.

- Moves the edit cursor to the next possible bad or missing crossfade between two items on the selected tracks.

- A possible bad crossfade is considered one whose duration is not the same as the overlap between the two items.

- A crossfade is considered missing if two items are adjacent or there is a very small gap between them and they do not crossfade.

- You can set inside the script the maximum gap duration between two "adjacent" items for them to be considered as requiring a crossfade. Default value is 100ms.

v1.01
Added messages when there is no track selected, or not enough items, or no problematic/missing crossfades.

v1.05
Fixed: correctly taking into account automatic crossfades.

v1.06
Got previous build change right.

Default Please create script: Move edit cursor to next crossfade in reaper

Hey Amagalma,

Today has lead me to finding one of your scripts... this one in particular. Because I was viewing a video of UAD's LUNA and I really enjoyed watching the workflow so much so I wanted to implement one in particular come to find out there's no script I see for it. yours is the closest I discovered in my actions list. it's almost this script but not quite.

Your script focuses on the missing crossfade.
but the workflow this guy was using in LUNA
focuses on the edges of each crossfade
He is able to quickly jump to each crossfade
similar to how yours jumps to every split (missing crossfade)

the video below better depicts this.
It'll begin within seconds of him using the action I'm describing.

It seems like something you could easily code perhaps even using this script as a starting template?
So my question for you is would you do it?
I'm sure you could see how valuable a script like this would be for fellow Reaper Users in the community.
Especially those who edit a lot.
Anyways thank you Amagalma for all the amazing scripts you've created.
and for your time and consideration on this one.

Sincerely, Joe.

Hello!

The native actions "Item navigation: Select and move to next item" should work for this.
