Default Good MIDI Keyboard

I need a decent MIDI Keyboard.
I'm looking for something with 4 octaves so I can actually learn to play a bit of keyboards if I feel like it.
I have an Edirol PC50 but never got it working properly, I think there was a recall of these because the milar was of poor qulity but I missed it. I still have it so looking for a similar type of thing that will work with windows 10 via Focusrite 4i4.

Nektar supposedly has great Reaper integration. I'd recommend any Novation keyboard controller (smart features and they really seem to last). If you have Komplete or a number of NI products, the NI Komplete Kontrol units with the color screens are wonderful to use, if rather pricey.

Although if you haven't actually learned to play keys yet, a grid setup like the Launchpad will make you feel like you already know what you're doing and you can do fast runs up 8 octaves with only 3 fingers... Very fun! It's also a much easier (visually) approach to intervals, since they are always the same distance apart (not the case with black and white keys).

But literally any USB keyboard should work just fine. Only need to decide if you prefer weighted keys enough to justify the extra weight and expense. Semi-weighted is a nice, common middle ground.

I've got a Novation Launch Key 61. No problems with Reaper.

Had to tweak some transport settings, but nothing major.
