Honestly, that initial animation was pretty cool.

Dear devs, since you're giving some love to the pins, can you please address this pins issue?

Thanks for this one.

Right now it's a nightmare to navigate presets and it's worse when there are lots of them. Could you please support mouse-scrolling at least? Ideally, it would be super helpful if we could browse presets on a "presets" tab or something with enough space to display them in the FX Bay.

YES! I just love those things! Thank you!

Now I can scratch my FR from 2011 off the list (Optional per item dB Scale)

I've FR:d ReaLimit and this one. ReaMod to go ...

Works great now, but the mouse cursor is still showing old behaviour (comp cursor over comp area even if left dragging actually does what MM override tells him)

Some quirks over the track spacer. Recolored Marquee fill to green and razor edit area to red to make the screencap more clear.

First two selections are good, the marquee fill area is drawn over the track at the top. From third selection, i'm dragging downwards and the marquee is drawn over both tracks, up and down. Selection behaves fine though, so i guess it's only a drawing issue

Some more considerations:

Maybe some middleground is needed in regarding the MM override changes. Let's pick the particular case of razor edit left drag override.

When razor MMoverride is active, now i can only create razor edits, not operate on them. This is fine in other cases like marquee select or (maybe?) comping, but in the case of razor edits it's kind of strange the way it is right now (especially so because the cursors still change based on old behaviour, but they do not do what they say).

I'm a simple dumb person: i see razor edit, i click/drag on them to do stuff. When i override MM to do that with left drag, it's because in my brain i want to enter razor edit mode. I'm purposefully referring to ME because i'd love to hear other points of view from people.

So... @schwa regarding the "priority" thing that's discussed in the other thread, maybe at this point only razor edits should have priority over everything else?

This post is probably just a pile of bs... sorry if that's the case.

Loudness Waveform colorization is pretty rare,

I think the only time I saw it (a part from experimental HTML stuffs I made), it was in 2013 in Resonic Pro lab showcase.

It was quite elegant with just a simple gradient like that (if this can give some presets ideas).
Current default is just all red for the mastered tracks I analyzed ^^

Here a more gradient preset I made quickly

I guess it depends on the usage.

Could be interesting to have more band to match other loudness plugins.

Side note: and extending such color map to TCP/MCP meters (overriding theme) could be nice. 😉

Thank you very much! Not sure if it's intended like this or not, but clicking on the combobox doesn't give it focus here on Linux. It does work after setting focus via Tab/Shift+Tab though.

Would be really useful if it also worked while the dropdown menu is visible.

Agree with both. At least 6 bands would be great!

BTW Should the loudness graph behave like this for item level adjustments? Especially for such "small" adjustments?

Haven't tried it yet but thanks for the FabFilter fix, I had to switch from CLAP back to VST3 for Pro-Q 3 because it wasn't remembering its state (after a brief moment of confusion!).

Another thing I noticed:
The abrupt transition caused by volume automations.
I think fades for the graph (400ms / 3000ms) would give the graph a much better approximation with automations.

So that we instead of this:

we get this:

Makes sense?

Super nicely made and very useful, I don't think I've seen this anywhere else in a DAW!

Wondering if it would be possible to have a value readout as a tooltip at the mouse position, alternatively in the peaks window, as shown here:

Indeed! That's amazing! Thanks devs!

I wonder if at some point. further down the line... we might be able to show a similar graphed "line" on media items that are coloured by pitch as well?

Could be very useful to see vocal lines, bass and lead lines etc in this graphical way with a graphical line showing pitch based on the spectral peak info

Also, I've not had a chance to test it yet but I'm hoping it takes the reading post item volume envelope so we can see gain changes shown instantly here?

Or maybe a toggle switch?

The loudness features look amazing.
Music by Numbers mentioned pitch.
I would love to see pitch information on the waveforms.

I was hoping this might fix some of the previous issues I've mentioned in this area over the last few months but as soon as I installed this version and set the Display Updates to Automatic (Recommended) the playback cursor was VERY jittery.

I didn't even give it time to check for the other issues before turning it back to Disabled. I quit and reopened REAPER after each change was made.

For some reason REAPER is uphappy with my configuration which is currently macOS 14.3.1 on a Mac Pro M2 Ultra.

Two Displays:

Would it be possible to choose from this menu and display other informations about the audio clip?
Particularly I mean:
- mono correlation: a graph from -1 to +1
- mono deviation: a graph from -4 to +4

Hi! I arrive late to the party, but thanks sooo much for this! Nevertheless, I'm not being able to make this feature work in Linux Manjaro. Is it only me? I try both Ctrl keys with the up and down keys (and other ways, including the mouse) but I can´t get it to work. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the function...

And since we are at it, excuse me that I can't avoid reminding you of this old feature request which, from the perspective of an instrument player in a live situation, would be very helpful in my humble opinion...

https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.ph...27&postcount=1

Thanks so much in advance.
