IEM Granular Plugin
Heads up for you guys, IEM has a new plugin, Granular Encoder, that's just awesome. Been playing with all morning and love the sound. Working great on my environmental tracks and I bet it will do the same for all you musicians!

Thanks. Is it free? I see they also have different plugins. How new is this developer? Never saw them.

Yes, they are all free. IEM has been around for a few years. This is their newest suite of plugins. They've really improved, very stable and powerful. I'm loving this Granular. Opens up a whole new world for my tracks.

Oh wow, if you haven't seen the IEM stuff, you're in for a treat. They support all the way up to 7th order Ambisonics, which pretty much requires Reaper because that needs 64 channels!
I mean that's pretty much overkill, but you can never have too much overkill. Speaking of, with Reaper getting 128 channels per track, maybe they'll update their plugins to do 10th order. |
