Chord selection and Drop 2, 3 Voicings

I made a custom action that will select next 3 or 4 notes that works about 70% of the time. Select next 3 notes looks like this

Navigate: Select next note with the same channel
Add next note with lower pitch to selection
Add next note with lower pitch to selection

I'm wondering if there are better scripts or custom action out there for this purpose of selecting the next chord? And is there a script or custom action anyone has for dropping the second note in a chord by an octave (drop 2) or droping the third note in a chord and octave (drop 3)?

off the top of my head, it would be something along the lines of :

Drop 2:
Select middle notes (Kawa’s script)
select top note (Kawa’s Script, again)
invert voicing downward for each selected chord

Drop 3:
Select middle notes (Kawa’s script, idem)
select bottom note (Kawa’s Script, idem)
invert voicing downward for each selected chord
