Default Can "JS:Delay w/Stereo Bounce" fade out smoothly?

Hi guys.

So because I like stereo effects I've been testing out the "Delay w/Stereo Bounce" FX quite a bit, But one thing I noticed is that the echo generated cuts out at the end. When mixed with other instruments it isn't so noticeable but by itself it just sounds bad. This is fine for FX where a cut off is desired, but in my case I wish the delays to fade out smoothly.

This could be just the way I have set it up. I tried it on both items and isolating sounds to a separate track for wet FX. For example I used the following settings.

FX setting I put on a snare for a cool outro:
Delay: 250
Up/wet: -3
Up/dry: -3
Out/wet: 0
Out/dry: 0

This sounded good until it cut out early.

FX setting I put on a vocal word for emphasis:
Delay: 300
Up/wet: -3
Up/dry: 0
Out/wet: 0
Out/dry: 0

The sounds fine on the echo but then it cuts out too early.

I think I need to find the sweet spot. As you can see I'm using integers in my dB settings. Should I use floats instead? I'm looking to fade out the delay with a more even granularity that the cut off I am getting. It's just cut off a little earlier. Not too harsh but not lasting long enough.

Gee, I'm glad I posted in the newbie section. LOL. :-P

So I found the solution. The Take FX tail length was too short. I increased it and that did the trick.

I can see I was being too specific. And used too many details. I did search here and online but nothing relevant turned up in the results. Online was using a default search engine. I find I need to use Google as others can miss results. Then I got results. Including here.

What usually happens is I need to post a problem in order to fix it myself. I can spend hours trying to solve things. Then I post online and soon after I find the solution. It's strange but it works! :-D

I'm glad I'm not the only one who goes through the same cycle. :-D
