Default Stuck loading projects because "missing content" window won't show

Latest v5.982/x64, Windows 10

When a project is missing samples due to a folder moving (or after moving everything onto a new pc with new folder structure), the "Missing Content" windows shows.

If you click on the main reaper window behind this, the missing content window will become hidden and irretrievable. The project is blocked from loading and the only way to exit reaper seems to be a forced kill from task manager!

I had seen it get stuck apparently loading content a few times, and I only recently figured out this is what was happening, because I can see the missing content window when I hit alt+tab, but the main reaper window keeps stealing focus from it or something.

It seems this was partially fixed in the most recent update, in that it now no longer gets stuck for the main "Content Missing" window, because it is forced to show above the Reaper window.

However, it still gets stuck when NI Battery samples are missing, which apparently doesn't use the same dialog.

In reaper 6 it seems broken for both again. If reaper loses focus during loading and gets stuck on missing samples, you can;t proceed because the missing samples window is stuck behind the main window.

As a possible workaround, look at the "keyboard trick" on https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...eyboard-trick/

Just ran across this with version 6.02.

Bringing up Task Manager and killing the sub-window gets it moving again.
