So we have to wait 'til 2015/16...???? This takes forever....
I think we need to shorten the wait for us ... and spice things up a bit, don't we?
So here I go:

I'd love to be a tester very much.
I have discretion, IRC a big monitor and very good manners.

This should be the default Reaper theme.
If you could do some variations for smaller monitors, it would be perfect.
Can't wait to try it.

Don't say it should be default. WT has said this is a sensitive point so please don't do it.

More than 130 posts within two days for a Reaper-Theme. This, I dare to say, speaks for itself!
Well, in fact the theme speaks for itself!
No need (for me) to say more than
Well done, White Tie!!!
Thanks for sharing the previews.

WOW an OOOHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great piece of aesthetic design but what ever happened to "ITS TO BIG"
Just kidding I know the Brief and this is aimed at people who want it large and proud and it is really is stunning, but maybe not my cup of tea.
The thing that puzzles me is the buttons under the label BUS next to the fader is this an alternative meter or will we finally get bus indicators by 2015........... lol
Also that gorgeous glowing background to the fader could that be a meter or is it automation settings whatever it is it attracts me like a magpie
Sterling work Sir all the best ..........

I hear ya' !
I am currently running 2 x 24" --- 1920 x 1080 and am tempted to move up just to do Imperial justice.
It's a big leap from here though.
No real sense going to 27" 1920x1080 and if you go higher rez, say 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 you are into IPS panels, then you might as well go 30" IPS -- Oh my the dollars do start climbing -- the least expensive reasonable solution is the Dell U3011 at about $1400 EACH -- yikes !!
Imperial certainly is THAT good though, it's tempting me to even consider such a move
Geez and it isn't even out yet, talk about anticipation !

OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH............kaythen.
As a default theme this would REALLY SUCK.
I hate beautiful, micro-detailed quasi-realistic emulations of hardware type themes.
What you SHOULD be doing is working on a reproduction of the original Cubase theme on the Atari ST.
Now THAT would really work for a default theme.
(P.S. I am saving for my BIG monitor Mk2. Already have one 32" which is quivering with anticipation)

Looks great! Looks greatest!!!
But...
1.Timeline until that is very bad.
2.What prevents gently reduce all the elements, keeping the proportions?
Any normal multi-channel project, always contains from 10 channels up to 100.
And the more useful information on the monitors, the easier it is to work.
About it the golden rule, have long forgotten monsters such as Cubase.
Is it worth to be like them?

Dear white Tie, a question for you: when you are in dual pan mode, what should be the name of the png for the right channel knob???
As I guess you start to understand your theme is incredibely awesome. for me the only weakness is the grey boring bg. the bg in the fader zone (black or white) is great, realistic and subtle, but the part on top of that looks like a 90's GUI, it doesn't look like a real material and it seems in condtradiction whit the white or black bg, like it was another GUI
only weakness for me, awesome theme, thanks to wait a while before releasing it, cause when you will, there will be no point to make other custom themes

Here's my Scope DSP Project Window,...will this resolution be enough..?
I'd love to see how many channels I can get.
Scopes Modules are 3D so I can pack a window full of connection to DAWs, FOH, Monitor and Consoles...
Can't wait to see if it works here.

The size should be Ok, but which resolution is that? Could still be 1024x768, then you're doomed

1800+, 42 x 82......and yes the Vinyl sounds great over Plasma speakers.
Everybody raves about Tape these days and yes I agree the emulation in Native have come a long way, UAD Studer and Scope DSP Tape, Sat and Tube is also fine.
But NOBODY has tapped into the Vinyl sound and it is different.
Meanwhile back at the ranch.
FWIW I don;t own this, I am too cheap, but I get to escape to it from time to time, and it is on my wish list. Perhaps when I become an evil 1%'r' but my luck the wealthy 1%'r's in DC will want to tax me into the last century to make up for their mistakes....

I have all the testers I need now, thanks
Many thanks to all those who PM'd, but I only needed a handful of testers ...please forgive me if I don't reply to you individually.
-----------------------------------
Some FAQs
Can I give you some money?
No, but thanks
Screen stuff
The screens I use are a couple of HP ZR24w, which are relatively very cheap. Some people are getting on fine with 1080px height resolution. Having two screens makes a big difference.
I bet this would work just as well when smaller
No it won't. Yes, I get that you think it would. One of us is wrong.
Can I get an early build so I can start doing my own mod / do my own thing with it / use it to sell stuff?
No! Damn, man...
