Reaper 6.14 has trouble recognizing MPD218

Hi,

I have Reaper 6.14, Windows 10 64-bit, and I can't get Reaper to recognize my new MPD218. The driver package for it always times out; I sent a message to Akai support Friday about this. It's recognized in Windows as a USB audio device. Reaper just reports "unable to open inputs" no matter how I have the ports enabled. I have Reason 10 installed and it operates fine; Abelton sees it; the standalone app for Voltage Modular also sees it fine.

Do any of you have any advice on how to deal with this?

While the options are different from that message, I removed all the control surface modes from the Control/OSC/Web dialog and just added the LX49 back in. When I checked the device dialog it is now working! Thanks for the lead!
