Default SSD mount options - recommendations?

does anyone have a recommendation for the mount options w/ newer kernels (5.0.0-31-lowlatency)?
It seems the use of nobarrier is no longer recommended in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 as the negative performance impact:
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...tebarrieronoff

I use following mount options:
Code:
noatime,nodelalloc,barrier=0,i_version,commit=30,inode_readahead_blks=64,errors=remount-ro
details:
https://medium.com/@dardovaldez/fine...4-b504dceaef50

are these mount options still advisable for a linux audio workstation or should I change them?

Oh, I thought this was going to be about physically mounting an SSD, and I was going to say that I used screws on mine.

You're over my head with those options. Defaults, uid=me, gid=me, and nofail are the only options I used in fstab on my second physical SSD and that was on a stock lowlatency kernel for 18.04.

I also don't know what most of them do

I use defaults, noatime. Possibly investigate the use of the "discard" flag unless you run some service to periodically run trim on the ssd.

it does not seem that barrier is ignored in mount options ...
I was able to improve read & writing speed with the following parameters (important: use only w/ ext4 SSD partition)
Code:
defaults,noiversion,auto_da_alloc,noatime,commit=20,inode_readahead_blks=64,delalloc,barrier=0,errors=remount-ro
