Default Some small but important (to me ;) midi editor requests

Greetings!

A little background:

I'm new to reaper and it's absolutely blowing my mind. I've learned many daws but always gone back to FL studio due to the very fine piano roll. Unfortunately, the rest of its workflow is a complete disaster for me. Reaper is the only other daw I've been able to work as fast with in the piano roll, and I knew in about a week that it was going to be my daw from here on out.

Here are a couple of things I miss from FL studio's midi editor.

- the colored vertical time divisions, such as what is currently possible in reaper's arrangement. This one is HUGE if you enter a lot of notes manually. It's very difficult to quickly identify the beat on which a note falls without it.

- a marquee zoom. Another feature that already exists in the main view. Ideally, once you zoom with it, you would be able to click instead of drag to zoom back out. EDIT: I just remembered one of my biggest zoom gripes. Zoom to selected notes only zoom horizontally. So hopefully, if a marquee zoom is developed, it will zoom in both vertically and horizontally.

- I use the right click "delete notes immediately". It would be nice to add a third version of this action that is "delete notes immediately and deselect all notes".

-a midi scrub tool that does not move the play cursor. I have midi scrub on alt+click, and I frequently use it to audition chord voicings. If would be nice if I could just audition the chord and then immediately hit play to resume playback from where ever the play cursor was.

-this last one is a little more out there, but it could be great. What about a "process notes with (midi) vst" option. This could be a really powerful way to create interesting ideas.

Thanks for reading, I'm already a huge reaper fan and content with the program, just some ideas I had .

In the section "MIDI note" you can assign custom actions to the left click. You could create an action that combines "Edit: delete notes" "and edit: unselect all".

Indeed, I just really enjoy having left click for creating notes and right click for deleting. Adding deselect notes to right drag would just give me one more function I can access without any mouse modifiers. It’s a bit on the nit picky side; I currently have ctrl+click = deselect all notes and it works fine.
