Default Can new takes overlap existing audio like in Cubase?

Hi Guys

I was wondering if its atall possible to overlap existing audio with new takes like in Cubase rather than dividing it up into lanes which seriously irritates me....

Many thanks

Try OPTIONS/SHOW ALL TAKES IN LANES {CTRL_L}. This will display new takes in place over existing data rather than creating a new lane.

Yes. Look in Actions: Toggle Free Item Positioning. My default. I don't know where it is on the menu. I use Alt+Win+F as a shortcut.
