Default Scanning plugins @ stratup - how to disable?

hi guys!
last Reaper versions causes strange behaviour on both PC and MAC systems.
1) PC. After launching Reaper, I see "vst scanning" window - how to get rid of it?
2) MAC. After launching Reaper it scans AU plugins and it takes time! How to disable this scan but not disable AU plugins in Reaper itself?

Thank you!

If you want to disable plugin scanning on startup just have a bit of patience.

Andrew, version 6.20 will bring this feature.
Code:
+ VST: option to not scan for new/updated plug-ins on startup

It will be possible also to cancel scanning, if it takes more than 10 seconds. Hiding this window is not implemented. Just wait for 6.20 release and see whether anything will change.

Just an FYI that it 'may' be that it needs to complete before further interaction with Reaper.
