Thanks
Seems like a good allrounder and not that expensive either (compared to nord).

If what you want is a touring rompler without the weight and space of a small desktop or laptop PC for superior quality VSTs then yes it looks like a reasonably priced option for convenience and most likely durability.
As per the reviews as a synth the analogue emulation sounds like earlier digital hardware, but this is to be expected at the price as the majority of consumer friendly priced DSP hardware can no longer compete with the power of a decent PC and the best VSTs.
More importantly for some this would be good enough for touring bands playing live as arguably quality is less critical than in studio recording. It sounds pretty good in the YT videos.

It definitely is a Roland Juno DS, the version with 61 keys.
The owner has taped the back left side where the Roland DS logo is. Quite strange. Why would you do that?
I myself have the Roland FA-06 which is for me a great allrounder: synth and keyboard sounds!

Maybe an indie band that wants to "stick it to the man" - anti corporate yadda yadda...
Or
Bitter indie band that failed to get sponsored by Roland for product placement!

I'm not sponsored by Roland either. But I guess that is because I am a lousy player. I don't mind other keyboarders to see what instrument I'm playing so they know that it's not the instrument's fault the sound is bad...

BTW: Anybody called Softsynth must be right!

In which case the trick is to blackmail Roland by threatening that you won't cover their logo in public!

Great idea! I will dust off my Japanese and write them immediately. That'll teach them a lesson!
