Default File output types

Hi everyone

I couldn't find an answer to this in another thread but it seems like an easy question that has been answered before, sorry if this is a repeat.

I have to get a track off to a client that wants multiple versions. The session was mixed down at 48k but the client also needs a 44.1k copy and an MP3 copy as well.

What's the best way to export a stereo file out of Reaper? I assume there is a better / higher quality way to do a file conversion than just doing a bounce? Or is a bounce the only way to accomplish a conversion?

Thanks in advance

Bump... I know this is probably an easy question but does anyone have any feedback here?

Thanks

should just be able to render them out as desired with various settings in the render dialog

I was thinking about that but I wasn't sure if there was a better way to do it from a quality standpoint. Does a render like that cause any issues with file quality outside of the file change (48k to 44.1k or 48k to .mp3 etc)?

Nope, render is what you’re looking for.

One of Reaper's most fantastic features is the ability to set up a Render Queue, of different sections or the same, and of varying output formats in each different render, and set them up first and then render all (or some) at the same time. For outputting different formats of the same file it's a big time saver, as it's much easier to set up and add renders to the queue in Reaper than it is in other apps with batch exporting.
