Default Printing to a track without monitoring its output?

So I have everything in my project running through a mix bus with a chain of mix/mastering effects on it. How can I print the output of that track to another track I am recording on, but without also hearing the output from that track through the master mixer? Basically, I just want to have a track that is recording whatever I am doing as I am mixing and playing stuff, but that doesn't have any audible output while doing so. What are my options here?

Aha! I figured out a way to do what I wanted. Using the "SWS: Toggle master/parent send on selected track(s)" action, I can set up the print track to record a send from my mix track, toggle the master send on the print track off, and then when I want to listen to what I recorded, disarm the record monitoring/arming, and toggle the master send on again. Nice!
