Default Just checking myself on the order of plugins for a vocal track

I have a VOX track that is being sent to a Sub VOCAL track.
The VOX track has NO plugins.

The Sub VOCAL track has the following plugins and they are in this order. I have taken a short break from music production and just want to be sure these are in the proper order. And, if your willing to say why. I am interested to hear your insight as to your reasons for ordering these plugins the way you are suggesting.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Here are the list of plugins in this order:

1. MEqualizer (Melda Productions)
2. ReaComp (Cockos)
3. MTurboReverb (Melda Productions)
4. Event Horizon Limiter

Do you think this list is in the order it should be or do you have any suggestions to a change in the order of the list shown here...

Also, is there any MUST HAVE plugins for vocals that you can suggest ?

Thanks so much in advance for your assistance

You're kind of going to have to share a sample of the vocal in question. Can't talk about what it needs before hearing it! Lots of different voices out there and many ways and rooms to record them in.

Looks like you needed to adjust frequency balance on something first, then you compressed the result of that, then you put reverb... reverb in line on the same track with a vocal? curious ... alright ... and then hit the result with a limiter. Seems maybe a little unusual. But that's because I don't know what the thing sounds like to begin with or the goal of the mix.

OK. I am making video with my music. I have Pinnacle Studio video editor and will make a video of my screen and show you as well as let you hear the results. I will also include video of the room I am working with so you can get a full picture of what I am up to.

I have only really scratched the surface of the Reaper software. I appreciate all the help I have got from so many of you and I have learned so much.

BTW, I have a VOX track that is being sent to an FX track. There are NO plugins on the VOX track itself. All of them are on the FX track.

You mentioned frequency balance. The only issue for me on that is I simply have not yet had the opportunity to learn anything about that, so, it will be cool to look into it and find out how I can benefit from knowing about that.

With gratitude to all of you,

Steven

There is no order that will be right 100% of the time.

Once you have really understood what each type of plug-in can do to the sound and is intended to do, then you will be able to experiment with different plug-ins, different orders of plug-ins and different settings for each plug-in's parameters to get closer to the sound you want
