Default Need script to batch-rename files for Kontakt's Auto-map

Hi,

I'm new to Reaper but I heard great things when it comes to batch processing and naming samples.

Do you know the fastest way to export and name files, so that Kontakt can auto-map them instantly?

I can't imagine sample developers would manually name and export each file on a huge project.

Here's the end result I'm looking for.

Kick - C1 - Vel 0 10 - RR 1.wav
Kick - C1 - Vel 0 10 - RR 2.wav
Kick - C1 - Vel 0 10 - RR 3.wav
Kick - C1 - Vel 0 10 - RR 4.wav
Kick - C1 - Vel 11 20 - RR 1.wav
Kick - C1 - Vel 11 20 - RR 2.wav
[...]
HatOpen - A#1 - Vel 120-127 - RR4

As a starting point, I have all the samples aligned chronologically, starting every bar, in one audio file.

Best,

-Karel Psota

a nice take name processor can be found in SWS extensions (named as Label proccessor)
But for really advanced patterns you can consider my renaming pack :

It has a lot of variables a way a intricated counter system which might interest you.

It was designed for Soundiron who also use Konktat auto map.
