Default (Wine)Asio not found in Reaper (SOLVED)

Hi all,
I recently did a system-wide upgrade and for some reason Reaper doesn't see my audio device, although midi works fine. I'm using Ubuntu/Studio 16.04 and the KXstudio repositories, with wineasio installed.

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks!

brian

So far I've read on the Reaper Wiki that only 32-bit Reaper works, as there is no wineasio in 64-bit version. Is this still true?

No, it hasn't been true for a long time

To register the driver in 64b, you need to use "WINEPREFIX=~/.wine WINE64 regsvr32 wineasio".

Hi Jack,
thanks for your response. In the meantime, I discovered that I hadn't registered either the 32-bit nor the 64-bit since I did the OS upgrade. Now, everything works great!
For the record, here are the 2 commands I ran that solved it:

regsvr32 wineasio.dll

and

wine64 regsvr32 wineasio.dll

The webpage that has a bit more detail, is here:

Thanks again!
