Default Duplicate notes in midi inline editor

I can't find an action to duplicate the notes in inline editor, does anyone know if something exists?

Maybe post an example of exactly what you're trying to do?

AFAICS, Ctrl+D works here in exactly the same way in the inline MIDI editor as in the separate MIDI editor window. For example, if I create an empty, 8-bar MIDI item, hit E to open the inline MIDI editor and then add four semibreves (whole notes) on beats 1, 2, 3 & 4, then select all of them and hit Ctrl+D the cursor moves to bar 5 and duplicates that pattern between bars 5-8 exactly as expected.

Hmm for me it doesn't work the same as in the midi editor. But if you say so that it works for you, then i must check my preferences again.
Does it work also when you click on one note and select it? Thanks!
