Default Anyone had success with iLok after 'Server not available'

I've got it installed in Wine, but it can't phone home. Bonjour is installed seemingly fine.

I'm currently trying installing every .dll under the sun with winetricks hoping for some luck.

I'd really like to have ilok working just for Steven Slate drums 5.5, which I bought and use on Windows and it's the last significant plugin I can't live without to make the switch to using Linux for main production.

Don't know if it helps but I did test iLok out with some plugins and this is what I did,

I tried the iLok (software) out with the WaveArts Masterverb vst3 and LinVst3.

No overrides or anything else installed, just basic Wine Staging 5.13.

MX Linux, Wine Staging 5.13.

I installed the iLok License Manager (using Wine) and then opened up an account.

I then installed the WaveArts Masterb vst3 with iLok support (using Wine) and set it up using LinVst3.

First Reaper scan needed me to login to my iLok account for the WaveArts MasterVerb trial license and after that WaveArts MasterVerb ended up running ok.

The WaveArts MasterReverb license shows up in the iLok Licence Manager.

I don't know if it matters, but I had the iLok License Manager running and was logged into it while the WaveArts MasterVerb vst3 was being scanned.

I can't get to that stage because of the pictured error.

If you are running wine-64 bit there seems to be a problem with mono not being installable and some other libs ( can't remember which exactly ) that cause problems with apps that need to dialout for passwords etc.

If the above is the case research "create wine 32 bit prefix" in your search engine of choice.

My wine version is wine-5.22 (Staging). No problem with login or activate(xpand!2). Have you try staging version wine?

xpand!2 is a very nice tool!

Thanks for the details. I think I'll make a new Arch setup,
I had Manjaro a couple years back, and I might remember
some of the details. pamac will be new to me, but it probably exists
because it's better.
Cheers
