Coloring the arranger and mixer slots background

Hi everyone,

I saw a couple of themes that are able to color the arranger and mixer slots background with the chosen track color of the selected tracks.

I acually like the Reaper 6 theme, but this is a change I would like to make just to have a clearer indication of which track(s) is (are) selected.

Is there a simple hack that could produce this effect?

The pictures show the areas of the arranger and the mixer that I mean.

So what would I have to do to these two PNGs to make the track and mixer areas change to the color of the selected track?
How can editing just two pictures achieve this? Are the colors some kind of code?
I'm afraid I don't quite get it...

You will have to make them transparent or semi-transparent in order to let the track colour bleed through.

Then you can make image transparent (except pink/yellow) and use theme tweaks to manager the color or paint the image with your desired color...

Those are the ones you want
They are three cell vertical buttons (top to bottom)
To have them color to track is a lot of work, you have to create a layout for each channel and create the specific colors in that layout, which obviously doesnt work if you want to use a color picker, this is why my themes have a specific color pick toolbar.

So I managed to color the selected mixer track(s) background according to the track color. That helps me to see at a glance which track(s) is (are) selected.

See attached picture.

All I did was take mcp_extmixbgsel.png from a differnt theme that lets the track colors shine thruough! In this case it was "CustomBlack".

Now if I could only find the right png to color the arranger background in similar fashion...

Any Ideas?

the arrange area is controlled by the theme tweaker
look for the following:
Empty arrange view area
Track background (odd tracks)
Track background (even tracks)

Thank you, how I understand it, the theme tweaker can give the track background a fixed color, but it does not allow the track background to have a shade of the individual track color. So I am looking fot the name of the png-file of the track background so I can edit it.
Any help is appreciated!

I don't see any PNG files related to this or WALTER code to adjust it.
Adjusting the selection in the theme tweaker is all I can find and this only colors the odd tracks differently from the even tracks.

Then I guess there is nothing I can do, but that's ok. It's a matter of getting used to that the selected tracks don't stand out much.

Selected track highlight is in current dev build!

Please remember not to talk about things in dev builds outside the dev forum. Not everyone is in a position where they can be messing with the (admittedly small) uncertainties of dev builds, and there is no guarantee that things that appear in dev builds will ever make to to full release.

Speaking of the Dev Version, you have an idea of when we can fully translate the Theme Adjuster, as there are few areas that are still images.

Arf...can't find it in the 6.14 so I guess this will be for a futur version :-/
