Lighter themes?
I'm not a fan of dark themes. The default Reaper theme is about at the bottom of my threshold for dark themes.
I've been browsing themes lately (since after this Logic review, I need some serious eye bleach) and I've not found very many light-shaded themes.
So I'm curious what suggestions people have, or what lighter themes that folks like.
Meanwhile, I'll continue my search.

Thank you so far folks! I knew about some of these, but some I didn't find.
Hopefully there's more I haven't found

Simple, easy on the eye, easy to navigate, uncluttered. Perfect.

There's light versions of both of the themes in my signature.

Excellent, thank you.
Are you still personally using your themes?

Yeah I use the dark version of Deep Purple. Been meaning to update them slightly but they still work fine in v5.

My absolute fave light theme: https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2063/Tracks.zip
I did some minor tweaks to the version I use daily, to suit my tastes, but all in all this is the "purest" theme for me

Annnnd before that, I was using this from the same themer: https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/1646/Compact.zip
I have minimalistic/functionalistic tastes when it comes to UIs ... So I enjoy the Ableton Live approach a lot, for example. Any minimal theme doesn't appeal to me, though, it needs to feel like it has a firm vision of the overall style at the same time, be it ultra modern or retro or whatever.
Anyway, of these themes by Lamda, the "Tracks" one does have benefits over this one, although I do enjoy the more-ascetic-yet-balanced vibe.
(Of course, I'm waiting for the light version of Hydra to make its debut, too. The dark version is released and top notch, and it seems the light one is a classic in the making as well: https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=357 )

I probably don't know what I'm talking about but here's my $.02.
I like the dark themes but they are just too dark for my old eyes, so I tend to use the lighter themes.
I think maybe folks just have their monitors set at the default blazingly bright setting. Every time I build a new computer I need to turn down the default brightness overall to a comfortable level. The trouble with that is that it makes the darker themes too dark. Everything else I use my computer for is just fine.
By the way, I've dabbled with REAPER for several years and it's become my primary DAW. This is my first posting

I tried all listed above and stopped on GrayMatter. This is the most elegant and easy for my eyes theme, with own unique "face", soft pencil-pastel tones and a decent set of toolbar's icons for almost all occasions.
Don't like dark themes (pain for eyes), "hardware" (too cumbersome and toy in fact) and mimic for other DAW (DAW must have its own face).

GrayMatter by Bernstraw has got to be on of my farourites. Used it during one of my most musically creative periods. Re-installing it kind of brings back the inspiration.
