Render NOT appearing at bottom of project!
Hi,
I had a quick search of the forum and couldn't see what I was after.
I've decided after possibly 8 or so years I would like renders to appear a track below the rendered track, instead of at the bottom of the project. This has finally become tiresome.
I perused the preferences and couldn't see anything under render tab so wondered if anyone had any cheat codes or incantations.
Cheers

Probably because as far as I am aware, you can`t do this.
You CAN select where the renders will be stored, but I doubt if you can automatically reinject them into the parent project, especially at a pre-determined location.
I assume you are referring to renders of individual tracks rather than the whole project?

If you're rendering individual tracks, then they'll go in right *above* the selected track. I think? i.e right click on the track and go for render/freeze tracks, rather than use the main render window.

Yeah, individual tracks..when you're into big projects it starts getting real tiring scrolling up and down. For all the options in reaper it still has a few head scratching omissions.

The right click option that I can see is 'Render item as new take' and it seems to replace the original file. Not quite what I'm looking for.
Thanks for your help though.

Ah, when I said r click on the track, I meant the appropriate place / track / whatever on the TCP (Track Control Panel) or MCP (mixer), not on an item on the track. Sorry for not being clearer.
