Default Cannot Drag and Drop to track

Hello there. I am new to Reaper and already really liking it!

I have a problem with drag and drop to a track in Reaper (my system is GNU/Linux Arch).
This seem a common issue but with different possible causes.

I have tested two FXs (EZ drummer and MT Power Drum Kit) and cannot seem to drag and drop a groove to a track.

I CAN DO drop a midi file to a track, if I open a file manager, select for instance the MT-PDK temp file and then, drag and drop it..

Any help would be really appreciated!

I've not tried it myself, but there is a script referenced in this thread that can make it work.

It's not a bug. It's that Windows plugins are running in a different world than REAPER for Linux, so they don't see the same common area without some script helper. Essentially the midi file that would be used in a drag-n-drop scenario gets dropped in a folder on the fake C: drive, because the Windows plugin knows nothing of a drive and folder on the real Linux OS.
