Default Does anyone else noticing clips at the start of bounced files?

Hello Reaper-community,

I noticed this first when doing lots of sound design stuff for a huge client. And I thought, well why not checking the files in RX before I'll send them over.

Then I saw that around 50% of the files had clips at each start. I bounced them via Reapers region bounce.

Today I wanted to send over a music composition to a client and noticed again that there's a small clip at the start of the file. This time it was a standard time selection bounce.

Does anyone of you noticed that as well? It's easy checkable in RX.

Is this not the usual thing with Reaper not clearing FX buffers when pausing (rather than stopping)?

Do you mean it is intended or that it is the usual bug everyone already knows about?

So it seems to happen only when I have activated FX on the channel.. no matter what FX. Even the ones included in Reaper seem to cause clicks.

When I turn them offline it doesn't click anymore.

So you're definitely stopping before render not just pausing??

And you have the flush FX on stop enabled in prefs.

automation can cause clicking if a parameter is not already at the right value when you start the render

Hey guys. Thanks for your replies!

@Stella645: Jep I'm definitely stopping, not pausing.
I had the option "flush FX" disabled but enabling does not work either.

@domzy: I thought about this, too. But in this current session I have no automation going on. Just two tracks with ambiences (split at zero crossing).
