Default Helix Native Crashing Reaper Again!!!!!

I use Windows 10 and Reaper. About a month ago I updated Helix Native and it wouldn't show on my plugin list. I rescanned and the Line 6 folder was showing but Helix Native plugin wasn't showing. I uninstalled and reinstalled about 3 times. Eventually I opened an old project that had a track with Native as a plugin and it worked. I saved the track as a template and have been using this as a work around. Today I went to open a track I was working on yesterday and it crashed every time I tried to load it as soon as Native popped up. I have uninstalled, reinstalled cleared cache, pointed Reaper at the folder but every time I try to load Native it causes Reaper to crash. Help as Native is my only Amp sim option just now.

Don't know what to say. All good here.
FWIW I only installed the VST3, none of the the other versions.
I read a thread a couple of weeks back, on another forum, where a guy had a similar issue, with a different plugin, in Reaper.
It turned out he'd got a virus... Why that would affect one plugin, in his DAW with no other issues at all...?
Worth looking in to.
Other than that, maybe a memory stick is on the fritz?

EDIT: There are a couple of threads on the Line 6 forum worth a look.
