Default Displaying notes on the keys in the midi editor.

Guys. Is it possible to make a hotkey so that note names are displayed on the keys in the midi editor? If yes, then please tell me. I'm using a key map, but I would like to display notes with a hotkey

Alt+0 by default. If doesn't work, look for "View: Show note names" in Actions for Midi editor context.

I mean not on midi notes, but on black and white keys (C.D.E etc) so that I press the hotkey and get it.

AFAIK only the C of each octave is labeled. You could perhaps create a custom note map with labels for each key and display that.

Yes I did, but it is necessary to always use the context menu to bring up a custom map. Can I do it on hotkey?

See if you can create a custom action and put it on the midi toolbar.

Yes I did. Thus, you need to select a keymap from the list. This is certainly more convenient, but why can't you make a hotkey or a button on the toolbar to just click and the notes will be displayed...

Because the effort required to memorize the piano layout is minimal so they spent the time creating something useful instead?

You could probably script this but I can’t be of assistance as I couldn’t script to save my life.

I think it can be saved with track templates and project templates. If yes, then it's possible to make such a script or perhaps using SWS:

The latest version is here(pre-release, but stable) :

In other daws, you just turn on the display of keys and that's it. And in the reaper, you need to do this every time. A trifle, but it's a little annoying.

Cool, there is a feature requests forum and you can ask there for that.
