Default Audiogridder VST and AU server

The Audiogridder VST and AU server is a set of a plugin to install in Reaper and a server pkg to run on a second Mac. It allows to use the processing power of the second Mac to free your DAW machine. Audiogridder is free and open source by Andreas Pohl:

That's fine, I do not complain, I only wish it would be also for Win & Linux, as it seems really amazing, you know

P.S.: And other than that, yep, you're right as I see now, becauseI did not realized that was/is OSX thread , I always go for all posts of "Today"...
Still I believe that it can't hurt to wish for other platforms be it OSX>Win or Win>OSX anyway.

Interested to know if anybody has tried this yet, it would be a cool way to use old Mac Minis as extra grunt.

I've tried it, briefly. It works fine...

You can route anything to anything. I'm confused now, cause my audio machine already had some system-wide EQ installed, a few other virtual audio drivers for AirPlay, Skype, Zoom and a few others.

It should be near-zero latency, but I haven't really looked at latency at all. For routing inside Core audio, I've never had problems with it.

That said, AirPlay just had a hiccup. Had to unplug-plug spdif to get it back. I don't think that's related to AU server tho...

One thing on the list is certainly using it to route audio to Airplay from one app and other audio to the interface.

It's one thing these old Airport Express routers are worth keeping for.
