I can see that some options are still kept hidden in "(note notation menu)" and "(track notation menu)". Some of them, especially the note notation ones, are really important. It would be great if as many as possible of those menus were customisable as well.

Hopefully this won't clash with existing menu customizations. I haven't used notation much so I can't really comment on the future, but thank you!

It doesn't clash with other customized menus.

I'm on W10 running one monitor at 4k and one at 1080p, and these HiDPI tweaks are making the user experience better and better, thank you!

Just FYI - the mouse cursors are still very small in 4k, they don't seem to be affected by scaling settings. I'm running in 'multimonitor aware' mode with scaling at 150%, and everything else seems to be scaling beautifully now (apart from certain third party plugins, but Reaper can't be blamed for that).

Thank you!

If there were actions that allow to insert the specific notes (C0 to G9) we could already, via these menus...
(using custom actions)

- insert articulations
- insert all the chords possible
- insert custom arpeggios and rythms

Right now, Reaper only allows to "insert note at nearest C", for example.

I've been doing a lot of non-grid snapped MIDI CC drawing these days. It would be really, REALLY nice if Reaper automatically reduced redundant CC values during drawing, just like it does when drawing host automation... I would really, REALLY appreciate the option (and I'm sure many others would, as well).

Sure there's a script for that, but that has to be a conscious decision you have to remember doing after drawing. It would be much more immediate, and a great workflow enhancer, if Reaper would just remove repeated CC values from the events that have been drawn in. Additionally maybe there could also be an option to consolidate a set of points into one of the existing curves, but that might be a bit CPU-heavy, dunno... But yeah, just automatic thinning of CCs, would be very welcome.

CC envelope should react like automation envelope.

Yes, many of us have been asking for that for a long time.

However, I would like to be able to turn it off and on. The reason being, I have my settings set up for some rather dense events and when I put in my initial values, it's usually a fairly straight line, which of course I will then proceed to shape. It's obvious it won't work if I can't turn the redundancy off.

Still getting marquee zoom issues... The previous marquee zoom issue was fixed, but now there's an issue when zooming into child tracks, specifically when the marquee edge crosses over onto the parent - please see the gif

These last few versions have made it feasible to run Reaper at 4K which is a wonderful thing. I have some feedback regarding the HiDPI scaling -

1. Melodyne does not scale when used via ARA. The program itself scales correctly when used standalone. I wondered if it was just a melodyne issue, but it also scales correctly when used via ARA in Cubase or Studio One in HiDPI, just not Reaper.

2. I'm running one 4k monitor and one 1080, using 'multimonitor aware', and the floating tooltips are very large on the 1080p monitor. The preferences and action list dialog boxes seem enlarged too, again only on the 1080p monitor.

3. None of the mouse cursors are scaling at 4K so they are very small, I think the envelope lines and points might be unscaled too but it's difficult to tell, they seem small though.

I'm on W10 latest version, running at 4k with 150% scaling.
