Default Executing operations via command line // School project // Help needed

Hello all,

I am currently working on a school project and trying to execute some operations via command line. I have already done some research on Reaper and also found the additional tool "SWS". I am not quite sure if I can get to the desired goal with Reaper/SWS and am unable to find the solution myself.
Maybe there is someone here, who can help me and bring me at least a little closer to the goal :-)
Here's what I want to happen:
1) Merge file "B" (5sec. length) at timestamp "15Seconds" with file "A" (60 sec. length) with a volume of +1dB.
2) Merge file "C" (5sec. length) at time "Y" with the same file "A" (60 sec. length) with a volume of +2dB
3) Execute the Masterchain-FX "MST" on the merged file "A" (with "B" and "C")
4) Save the final file in MP3 format in path "P"

Is this possible in principle?

Thanks so much for your help!

I also tried to visualize, what I want to get (see attachment).

As this required reaper master FX chain, I would suggest to do it via ReaScript rather than command line (like sox). Reascript will help you to import, split, boost gain, render to choosen format etc.

Though it is not entry level reascripting, with online tutorials and a bit of programming knowledge you can for sure succed in the task.

What are you doing with this ?

I guessed it was the OP's requirement "to execute some operations via command line". Maybe not. Maybe it's a requirement to use Reaper? Maybe not? Who knows, really?

Type "reaper /?" on the command line and you'll get the documented command line options. You might be able find options that do what you want, but I'm not sure; at a quick glance it doesn't seem so.
