I DO use Reaper, but I also like to use JS for other purposes, in other DAW's, with Equalizer APO, etc.

I don't think it's reasonable to offer ReaJS, or any of the ReaPlugs for that matter, then fail to update them for over five years. ReaPlugs' ReaComp still has the old, shoddy knee and the non-functional oversampling. A lot of JS functionality has been added that can't be utilized in ReaJS. ReEQ, for example, doesn't work at all.

If ReaPlugs are sort of a freebie promo for Reaper, shouldn't they reflect the current state of Reaper? If not, if you're just supposed to use Reaper instead, I'm failing to see why they exist at all.

Yes, you are right. It was just a joke. I think Justin is not interested in updating it.

+1 for a ReaJS update, please! Even if only for registered users!

Default Reajs on Linux

Hi,

I installed Linux version of Reaper on Ubuntu Studio. Unfortunately, I couldn't find ReaJS natively installed with the package. So, I tried using wine and vst bridge to load them, but no luck as it crashes. Would be great if they include ReaJS for native Linux or atleast Reapack as lv2,ladspa.

ReaJS never came packaged with Reaper, nor available via ReaPack. AFAIK, (Why should it, as Reaper supports JSFX plugins natively out if the box. ) It always was part of a dedicated "ReaPlugs" download.

file_riff() is not working in the reajsVST as I need to play a wav file section, so yeah an update and Mac Lin version would be good.
