Default Rendered wav audio now plays too slow

Hi,

I had a project that has several stem tracks that have been successfully rendered from their midi originals. They are all 4100Hz, 32bit (float). The Project settings are the same.

I've now come back to this track, added some more midi tracks but now when I attempt to render them to stems, they render to 4100Hz, 32bit (float) but they playback significantly slower, and at a lower pitch. The original existing stem tracks still play back fine.

How can this have happened? I don't recall changing any other settings.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this one please!

Cheers,
David

This is going to sound overly simplistic and I don't mean to insult you. I just had this same problem yesterday. Check the play-back rate slider on your transport. Sometimes I accidentally nab it with the mouse and not realize it. I spent 30 minutes trying to reset my buffer settings, retune guitars, etc, only to find that my playback had been changes just enough to wreak havoc. Hopefully your problem is this simple!

You can right click the transport and un-check the playrate control to hide this. I use this control vary rarely so I have it clicked off unless I need it for something.

I am happy for you that it was the same "duh" that afflicted me. Back to music!
