Default MIDI Editor Window - Major display corruption after un-docking

Context:
Reaper v6.0rc5/x64 - Win10 latest version (I think) and latest NVIDIA graphics driver (2019-11-22)
The project is a test with 1 Kontakt instrument track and 3 other MIDI tracks that sends input to the kontakt instrument.
I was experimenting with the MIDI editor by trying the available options in the settings window while the MIDI editor window was openned and visible.

The problem appeared when:
Step 1. I docked the MIDI Editor window
Step 2. I changed some MIDI editor settings in the options (From the Reaper settings window)
Step 3. I un-docked the MIDI Editor window
Step 4. I closed the MIDI Editor window
Step 5. I re-openned the MIDI Editor window - noticed the drawing issue at this point.
Step 6. Then I closed Reaper and re-openned it to re-load the project

Result : The MIDI editor window can't be drawn properly any more.
As you can see in the pic, the window title bar is indicating a fullscreen display. But there is no Menu, no icons, no piano roll, etc. I also can't restore nor close the window with its title bar buttons.
If I force close the window with a hotkey, closing and re-openning does not fix the drawing of the window either.
I think somewhere in the steps, it has lost the correct dimensions and content of the MIDI editor within the parent window. The project file seems corrupted.

Default MIDI Editor Window

If I open a midi item in an undocked midi editor, dock the editor, then undock and close the editor, Reaper does not respond to mouse clicks; the icons on my desktop underneath Reaper respond instead. This does not happen every time, but is reproducible. It also does not matter if there is a VST2, VST3,or empty midi item on the track. This happens with v.5.984 - 5.987.

Thanks for your more in depth tests

EDIT: This morning I tried to re-open the problematic project to see if the window would be fixed and without any reason it is now redrawn correctly.
Remember in my previous test I had closed and reopenned Reaper and re-loaded the project already and it didn't fix it.

This morning it worked.
(I did not restart my computer since the initial bug so I don't see why it worked this time)
