OK. working, but...
Not helping me here, I'd like to edit MIDI files in a score editor. This implementation seems to be more for folks wanting to export to hardware or work in another sequencer or print out a score. Which is great, and this could work for me but there seems to be major problems with importing things back into REAPER.
As it is now, the file gets totally FUBAR when it is re-imported back to REAPER after being exported regardless of any settings that I have tried if there are complex time changes. (i will attach a .rpp tomorrow for you to look at schwa to rule out user error)
Works great for songs in 4/4!
I'd like to to work in REAPER with my collaborator on some string arrangements and for a general scratch pad. He's more comfortable with a score, uses Finale, but has never really used multitrack recording software, so hoping to make things as easy as possible. I'm afraid if something goes wrong he'll give up on learning the software.
Anyway, ideally wouldn't we be able to open up MIDI items from the time line with this information imbedded?
