Per plugin HiDPI compatibility setting only works for floated vst windows

Hi! I'm not sure if the compatibility forum is the right one for this but here goes. I'm trying to use a free vst synth called Odin 2. It's great but I guess Reaper tries to drastically scale its window up automatically, because its GUI looks really pixelated. I researched a bit and found out that by checking the HiDPI compatibility option this can be fixed. To me the only option shown is for this to apply only when the vst is floated. I tested it out and it worked, it looks a bit blurry but not pixelated, which I vastly prefer. Is there a way for this to apply when the plugin is not floated, though? I rarely float my vsts and it would be neat to be able to have it when it's unfloated.
