Allow MIDI FX Immediately after MIDI In
We can see many MIDI FX Script allowing transforming MIDI messages, such as transpose.
I think if these MFX can be put immediately after the MIDI In, it would be helpful for many scenarios.
Although I can create a Track and insert MFX then send to other MIDI tracks for receiving transformed MIDI messages, the MFX is something more related to the input hardware devices, not the song.
For example, I may write some MFX to enhance my LaunchKey MK2 to allow its buttons to have special functions.

You can use input FX chain for this exact purpose.

I used this feature, but I still believe that's not what I need.
Input FX chain will require each track has the same chain. And if the MFX responds to the buttons of the input device to have a particular function, such as "transpose instantly', it will become a heavy load for the project.

Isn’t this what “Show MIDI track control panel” allows?

Instead of attaching multip0le tracks to the same device, you can use one track as input, holding the MFX (e.g in the regular FX chain) and use routing to distribute the Midi stream to other tracks.

It works for most VSTi, but when I use Kontakt, it just block notes or CCs and the MIDI cannot be recorded into the tracks.
