Default Fx parameters on sliders/custom virtual faders?

Hi,

I am experimenting (with multiple videos/opacity in this case) and have some fx parameters to show up on the track panels. They show up as dials and it is too fidgety to do any realtime jamming.

What options do I have to get this on faders instead?

I am thinking... maybe I am just missing something? Or I could use a custom mix layout? Is there a script? Can I make my own/script plugin that I can edit on the fly?

I could use an external app over midi too,but then it gets messy.

Any ideas?

Theoretically you could put any plugin on the same track and link parameters if you prefer the interface. But linking between audio plugins and the video processor can sometimes get hinkey. It might work well enough to get the moves written, but you’d want to write the actual VP parameters (not the linked leader plugin) and disconnect the link before rendering at least.
