Default Q: MIDI Editor timeline font: themeable?

Is there a way to change the font used for their MIDI Editor timeline values?

I've looked but cannot find anything.

Yes it is as you can see
However it does not have its own font and uses one of the others (I actually forget which it is, sorry)

And as you can see the font i chose that works great elsewhere looks really horrid in the MIDI editor hahaha
So it's own font really is needed.

^^^^
I thought that I had changed all I could see in the Theme Editor (there are 5 defined at the end of the .ReaperTheme file). I will have another look.

Nope, can't find it here - I changed all 5 in the Theme Editor, none affected the MIDI Editor timeline

Frustrating ain't it?

There have been threads talking about issues with people creating themes and what is needed. This is another example of things that will *stop you cold* and take hours to resolve for something that, if documented and clarified, would be a 30 second issue.

I love the theme capability, don't get me wrong. It's just examples like these that have frustrated me.

You may be wrong there
If i remember correctly (And as you know i often do not) i think you have to reload the theme (maybe even restart Reaper) after changing the font for it to change in the MIDI editor (Again like i said i could be wrong on this)

Yep just checked, its timeline font in the color prefs and you do need to save theme and restart Reaper

Thank you.
"restart Reaper" - that's what I didn't do (I did close and re-open the MIDI Editor, though).

Another Reaper quirk Worth a nit=pick?

Not really, most people just don't realise that the MIDI editor is actually a plugin and not part of the main application, I would say expected behaviour really ?
