Default Ordering clips

Hi, I'm working on a documentary podcast with about 8 tracks and 1000s of bits of audio.

I'm laying it all out over the episodes at the moment and realised it would be handy to have the clips assigned a number depending on where they are, so they don't get blown off the table. Is there a function in Reaper that does this, essentially keeps order?

one idea - You can batch process the item labels (names) with SWS/IX: Label processor

"I'm working on a documentary podcast with about 8 tracks and 1000s of bits of audio. "

I'd love to see this

Default Thanks!

I'll have to teach myself that one. Thanks for identifying the function

I'm a new user, 6 months or so, so don't expect it to look too impressive when it's done!

The project is about 8 eps of 20 mins each so it's clips on each track depending on who's talking.

Happy to send photos when complete. Let me know best way

I've always done 1 episode per project and use a template for processing, intro/outro/transition music. However most if not all of the shows I've edited have been mostly longform discussion.
