Well that’s why there are other themes to use . Haters gonna hate
I love this theme because it gets out of its own way, and judging from the thousands of PNG files it contains, I’d say it’s pretty darn complete. Certainly more so than most of the themes on here!
I also appreciate the fact the PNG files are pretty heavily optimized, which gives the theme such a small file size.

I am sorry about it. I don’t like any types of negative content too, particularly on my theme’s thread. Maybe it should be fine to remove some toxic posts

Great work as always! This is an amazingly functional theme at high track counts. I love the information density it allows due to its clarity and well thought out contrast.

Good vibes theme. Very well done thanks! Could you upload toolbar 3 with all the buttons also. Seems like its old toolbar there with fewer buttons than shown on 1st post. Thank you!

yes, that's it! files replaced, you can grab them now (but some buttons is for theme editing tools, may useless for you)
ALSO, THEME UPDATED TO 3.3c- layouts structure was re-organized(again) for more legible and user-friendly - be careful with old sessions
- added TCP green volume slider

Hi, first of all congrats for your wonderful theme, I recently switched to Reaper as main DAW and so far it's my fav one. I love the intelligibility of tracks in the main window, as the Default 5.0 theme has them with a (IMO) too bright background, with waveforms and track elements looking more washed out.
Plus, flat, elegant, non-skeuomorphic elements are a win for me - skeuomorphic plugins for exact amp and hardware models are nice, but I prefer a more abstract GUI for the actual DAW.
I just wanted to point out something happening in the TCP at all layouts which IMHO is a bit less coherent or glitchy:
Tracks generally look wonderful within the TCP, but there's a certain vertical zoom/resize setting where the TRIM button and the Record and Monitoring elements poke through - they are partially shown and they get cut, with the lower borders exceeding the track size by 1/2 pixels. I'll attach a screenshot (with some crude red marks added) to show what I mean.
I think those buttons could be hidden at that size, as in the default theme, or slightly reshaped and made smaller for it. I prefer your theme, but track elements look quite neat in the TCP with Default 5.0 at all vert. zoom settings: if they can't fit, they're not shown. Flat Madness displays more stuff and is very functional, but I'd personally avoid showing items partially within tracks.
I hope this feedback is welcome and keep up with your great work!

Thank you for the kind words, and welcome to the REAPER forum! i know about this "issue". it happens because lines between panels is a part of TCP background, one pixel height above and below. and this images can't overlay the buttons. yes, i can make it disappears before they reach the edge, but i leave a bit of place because they may be needed sometimes and you still able to use them without zooming

Is it possible to show "pre-fx" on folder tracks? An option perhaps a bit like you did for "record on folder tracks"????

3.4 changes
- new tab design
- new macOS styled toolbar icons for "close" "hide" "fullscreen" and "VST instrument" toolbar buttons. may be useful for fast access to toggle fullscreen mode
- new "monitor FX" images
- some minor color improvements for grey theme
- that's all... really all
you can find top toolbar on my google drive

Hi :-)
Is there anything we can do to make "take volume envelopes" show a bit clearer - particularly if they are not selected?
If the item is red it's really hard to see them
https://www.dropbox.com/s/r96nbaawp5...20red.png?dl=0
It is clearer when they are selected but sometimes I find it hard to see them in order to select them
EDIT: I've just realised you can change the colour in the theme tweaks. I guess there'll always be one item colour that clashes, particularly as the waveforms change from black to white when selected....
I shall experiment :-)

Possible bug in this theme?
I think I've found a bug, but I'm new to this so I'm not sure. Gif trying to depict the issue is at this link:
http://www.giphy.com/gifs/sYmgEL7VWkG8baSxqO
Basically in the media explorer, the background of the preview waveform is white, and it seems like the highlight is also white. I use the highlight feature in media explorer to import just part of a file, and that's hard when I can't quite see what I'm highlighting.
Hopefully this is an easy fix?

thank you! yes! that's completely easy to fix! go to theme tweak/configuration window.
here are the two colors you need: - play cursor
- media item background
i would recommend to make media item background a bit darker, because play cursor includes arrange view too (but it's always on your taste) ton't forget to save your version. i also will re-upload files in a few minutes
[EDITED]
ready! - 3.4i bright

Theme Update
Flat Madness is updated to 3.5!
what's new? - a whole re-imaged TCP solid color layout. now it looks close to default and displays "real" track color
- re-designed FXlist and sendlist areas in MCP. now it's better fits a whole design (bonus rounds included)
- fixed issue when TCP envelope button disappears too late in folder tracks
- fixed cursor color in media explorer in bright version
- volume envelope color had become clearer in grey theme

Congrats on the 3.5 release!
For me personally, I'm not so keen on the new TCP colour system.
I like to be able to see colours quickly at a glance and having just the thin band isn't enough.
Is there any chance you might go back to being able to colour the whole TCP panel?
I also really hate the default reaper grey ;-)

it's not default layout. this layout called "SOLID COLOR" and it's always has been but just updated now. no any changes to default layout

Thanks for the update!
Just a quick observation: on Linux the theme has to have the filename extension "ReaperThemeZip" with a capital Z. Otherwise it won't get loaded. I think it has to do with Linux's case sensitivity. So maybe you could change that, because at least the Grey Version is called "Flat Madness 3.5 Grey.ReaperThemezip" with a lower case z.
