Default UI Needs Adjustment

Hi Folks,

I have Reaper v 5.983 on Windows 10.

I think I messed up the UI when I made a slight adjustment by moving the [blank, black bar, located just below the taskbar] down a bit and it is now 'stuck' there and it's taking up the some of the space that was occupied for the tracks and arrangement view.

A screenshot is attached for a visual reference.

In troubleshooting, in trying to get it back to 'default,' I uninstalled and reinstalled v 5.983 and it is still the same.

If anyone has any idea of what to do with this, I would be grateful for your time!

Thank you.

the ui is tweakable.

to solve your problem create a track (only as marker)
move your nouse right above this track (the cursor changes to an up-down-arrow) and you can drag the area while left-mouse pressed.

this layout will be automatically saved by reaper til next run.

Default UI Needs Adjustment

Hi Bobobo!

Thank you for responding to my post! It worked!!

<As a side note, when I was trying to get it back to default, I was hovering my mouse to find the up-down-arrow again, since that's what I saw when I first made the change, but for some reason, was unable to find it!>

You saved me a lot of time! :-)
